Price: $500 flat fee (plus taxes/PayPal fees), everything below included. Simple as that! We accept mailed checks, or payments through PayPal. Contact us to purchase performance rights to a production.
What’s included: Two live audience performances, a google drive containing the script/music/program template/video examples/other important documents to help you get start, video streaming/DVD production permission, logos/advertisement permission, and product-creating permission.
What counts as a performance: Any instance the show you are producing in front of a live audience of any sort is considered a performance. This includes rehearsal workshops, rehearsals, dress rehearsals, previews, and any other similar term… If it is performed in front of an audience in any shape or form, that is one of your two included performances.
Can we pay for just 1 performance as half price: Our fee is designed to give the playwrights payments for royalties that they deserve… If you choose to only produce one performance, the fee will remain $500.
If I wanted to run a fundraiser, sell t-shirts, charge tickets, or run a dinner theatre, am I able to do so: We do not care what you do in order to fund your production… You are welcome to use the production’s logos, music, video, and photography of your production to help fundraise anything as long as the following information is present: “The Baillie Players, Children’s Theatre Production, www.thebaillieplayers.com” This information must be present on any video, poster, clothing, item, DVD cover insert, or social media post… If you want to make a profit off of our shows, all we ask is that you advertise our services as well.
Can we make any changes to the script or music: Contact us in any regard to questions or concerns about the script and/or music… Do NOT make any changes to the show without sending us an email. Changes without permission will be charged an extra fee… To avoid this fee, all you have to do is ask. 🙂
Can we perform your productions at events, competitions and festivals: The best thing to do is contact us and give us more information about the performance event. Some events require the performance fee, others do not… It depends on the circumstance.
