An original musical written exclusively for The Baillie Players by Tim Brosnan about a little boy named Peter Pan who take Wendy, John, & Michael, to Neverland! You’ll come across Captain Hook and his mischievous pirates… Hound Dog and his Weinerbun Motorcycle Gang… And you’ll see the adventures and dangers unfold as Peter Pan decides whether or not it’s worth the trouble of keeping this “New Mother” around!

The Prince & the Pauper
This 1-Act musical based on the original story written by Mark Twain was written and adapted for The Baillie Players in 1995! It has been in the vault ever since it was toured the first time, and now, it is being revived! This musical comedy is perfect for the whole family and the kids are sure to enjoy the funny consequences that arise from a prince and a pauper swapping lives and taking on each others responsibilites!

Rudolph Rides Again!
Rudolph’s red nose isn’t so bright anymore at the whopping age of over… 100 years old?! That’s right! Rudolph Reindeer is retired… The elves are in a bind, though! With the lead reindeer out sick, they have no choice but to hire the Aphrodite Jones and her evil money-making henchmen. Luckily, Gunter, the local mailman, saves the day when he pulls Rudolph out of retirement! Will Rudolph save the day? Or will A.J. turn Christmas into an evil profit-making company? Check it out in this all-new musical comedy!

Babes in Toyland
Evil old Barnaby is up to no good in in this musical comedy! When his nephew, Alan, is pronounced lost at sea, he sees this as an opportunity to marry the Beautiful Contrary Mary, Alan’s love. However, when Alan suddenly appears in Toyland, Barnaby tells Alan that his love, Mary, is lost in the Black Widow Forest! With Alan out of Barnaby’s hands for good now, Barnaby lies to Mary, telling her that Alan was lost in the black widow forest… So she goes after him! On a hilarious musical-comedy quest of danger, this is a spin on the classic story everyone needs to see.

The Ransom of Red Chief
Based on the original short story written by O. Henry, “The Ransom of Red Chief” is a slapstick musical comedy that follows the plot of two would-be kidnappers who decide to hold a rich man’s daughter up for ransom… However, the girl ends up being much more than these two crooks bargained for… She is such a problem, in fact, that the criminals have to pay the father to take her back!

Director’s Note: This production includes ‘slapstick humor in the form of “violence” in the form of slapstick humor that is deemed appropriate for families. The video below also includes an “optional” scene between the kidnapper and a store clerk that may be deemed inappropriate for certain schools and facilities.

HomeSquad – The Musical
Two different groups… Homeschoolers, and public schoolers, battle it out to see who is better! However, in a twist of fate, Will (a homeschooler) decides to swap lives with Colin (a public schooler) to see what life is like on the other side… Are homeschooled kids and public schooled kids all that different? Or are there more similarities than we thought?

Director’s Note: This production includes hard topics surrounding stereotypes, family relations (divorce), and this show addresses the topic of bullying others for being different.

Romeo & Juliet
Based on the drama originally written by William Shakespeare… This one-act adaptation of Romeo & Juliet makes the story easy to understand for students! With the story being told by a narrator to keep things moving along, your high schoolers are sure to enjoy the action, drama, and suspense of this theatrical classic. Two star-crossed lovers attempt to be together by any means necessary… Even if that means the unfortunate fate that is bestowed upon them.

The Taming of the Shrew
Based on the comedy originally written by William Shakespeare… This new 1-act take on Shakespeare’s classic is a new kind of hilarious! Pack filled with slapstick jokes and witty dialogue, you’ll follow the story of Pertruchio who tries to win over Kate, the most insufferable lady in town. A romantic-comedy at it’s finest!
